Our Goal
Hellfire Studios was created with one purpose: to unleash artists’ raw power and bring their sonic visions to life with crushing precision and groundbreaking recording mastery. Situated in the heart of Hollywood, mere steps from the legendary Capitol Records, Hellfire Studios stands as a fortress of sound, where creativity meets world-class precision delivering fierce, professional recordings.
Studio A
Room 16 is the heart of the studio, featuring a large, spacious live room and a vocal/iso booth. It’s fully air-conditioned and acoustically treated for accurate monitoring, making it the perfect environment for everything from full-band recordings to focused vocal sessions and mutlitracking. Artists love the flexibility of the space, as they are able to achieve high-energy, radio-ready recordings.
Studio B
Room 3 is our medium sized room, which is also fairly spacious with a vocal/iso booth and air conditioning. It is primarily used for vocal recordings and multitracking, but can be used for many other tasks as well.
The Arsenal
At the core of our setup is the signature “Murder One” rack, equipped with an SSL 18 Interface, and an SSL Alpha 8 converter, allowing up to 16 tracks to be recorded simultaneously. It also features Ten SSL Six Ch 500 Series Preamps, which are modeled after the preamps in the famed SSL 4000 E Console, which was used to mix and record many famous records, most notably Peter Gabriel’s So. Because of this, we are able to achieve that same, high-quality sound. We also have 10 DBX 560A compressors for catching loud transients, particularly on drums and vocals, giving recordings a smoother sound.
